About Advanced CPR Training

Advanced CPR Training was founded by West Jordan firefighter and paramedic, Matt Birch, in 2002. Matt has spend the better part of the past 25 years caring for thousands of members of the Utah community and as a first responder, understands first hand how much seconds count in a life-threatening emergency situation. And as quickly as emergency services can arrive on the scene, many times it is not fast enough. Citizen response has led to hundreds of thousands of lives saved and helping to ensure the necessary education is available and provided at the highest possible level while ensuring affordable access was a foundational reason Matt created Advanced CPR Training. Over the past 20 years, Advanced CPR has taught tens of thousands of students, teachers, and coaches, as well as provided training and certification to numerous medical offices, dental practices, hotels, restaurants, and small and large businesses.
