CPR for Schools

Since 2014, Utah has required that each high school student take a CPR training class in order to graduate. Advanced CPR Training has taught tens of thousands of Utah students during our 20 year history and have designed our class to provide the best instruction and hands-on practice in a timeframe that suits each the needs of each school.

Our CPR training for students is designed to teach basic life support skills and provide students with the knowledge and tools needed to respond to medical emergencies and potentially save lives. This course is typically taught in a classroom setting and includes both instruction and hands-on skills practice.

In addition to CPR training for students, we also offer our HeartSaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED class for faculty and preschool instructors. The course we teach is the most complete course available. This course focuses on medical emergencies that may occur in adults, children, and infants. It covers CPR, AED use, choking relief, as well as pediatric first aid.

Utah CPR Requirements Grant

In 2022, the Utah legislature passed a bill that provided a $6 grant for each student to receive CPR training from a certified, professional organization. Advanced CPR Training has been vetted by the Utah State Board of Education to provide this training. For more information on the grant, click here.

Unlike other companies, we have over 60 adult/child and infant manikins to ensure a 2:1 student-to-manikin ratio so that students are engaged the entire time.
